WTW Account Manager in Denver, Colorado

The Role

  • Be the day-to-day contact for assigned clients

  • Manage the annual lifecycle of employee benefits for assigned clients

  • Work with the Producer to meet client needs, including:

  • Development and/or analysis of benefits strategy

  • Delivery of reporting that is used to assess benefit utilization and plan performance

  • Answer client questions

  • Work with vendors to solve employer and employee benefits issues

  • Schedule, prepare for and attend client meetings, most often for renewals

  • Set up and participate in employee meetings (open enrollment, benefits fairs, etc.)

  • Conduct RFPs for clients

  • Assist producers and management with developing proposals and responding to RFPs

  • Assist other Account Managers and their clients as needed

  • Ensure the internal compliance process is being followed and documented

The Requirements

  • 3-5 years of professional experience, ideally in health insurance

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, or relevant experience

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products, especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel

  • Home office space with high-speed internet (hybrid position with some in-office meetings)

  • Leadership – applies judgement; directs and motivates other individuals; takes lead in small groups and promotes teamwork

  • Relationship Management and customer focus – collaborates to serve clients and help resolve conflicts

  • Ability to effectively engage with carriers and clients to maintain renewal terms and existing business

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Problem solving abilities, including critical thinking and adaptability

  • Project management skills, including attention to detail, organizational skills, prioritization and time management

  • Ability and willingness to travel to clients within Colorado for periodic meetings

  • Must successfully complete appropriate licensing exam(s) and/or maintain required licensing by completing various Continuing Education activities as needed. If already licensed, must be able to show valid confirmation of current licensing status.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role.

Compensation

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $70,000-$82,000 USD per year.

This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
