Process Engineer:

My client is actively searching for a Process engineer focused on improving manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives in a foundry.

Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer will analyze product and manufacturing methods, establish process standards, troubleshoot issues, and recommend corrective actions to improve manufacturing yields.

Essential Functions:

  • Review product and tool designs for compliance, manufacturability, and cost effectiveness.

  • Educate process operators on procedures and implement lean manufacturing methods.

  • Develop rigging systems, fixtures, tooling, and gages.

  • Provide timely support for production floor troubleshooting.

  • Develop and document operating instructions to maintain process control.

  • Collaborate with the Quality Team to monitor metrics and identify improvement opportunities.

  • Participate in continuous improvement activities and assist in developing work standards.

  • Utilize process analysis, improvement, and communication tools.

  • Provide data to resolve customer issues and improve foundry practices.

  • Utilize CAD (e.g., Creo, Solidworks) for design and modeling.

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.

  • 2-5 years of manufacturing experience preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.

  • Strong troubleshooting, process improvement, and project management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience with process capability analysis (CP/CPK).

Other Position Demands:

  • Desire to work on the shop floor.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.

Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
