The role:

You’ll deliver sourcing activity for all identified spend categories within the UK and US and provide commercial support to business stakeholders and category teams and manage tender activity for all sourcing processes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Execution of multiple sourcing projects across a variety of categories areas delivered within allocated timeframes

  • Ensure regular and appropriate communications (category aligned where appropriate) throughout the sourcing process, including both internal and external

  • Ensure all reporting tools are updated in line with specified timelines

  • Deliver margin (benefits) for the business and owners

  • Actively support more junior team members

  • Prioritise workload to ensure delivery of projects within agreed SLA’s

  • Deliver successful supplier relationship management plans as directed by Director of Sourcing

  • Build online events for supplier information, e-auctions and online tendering

  • Ensure request events are run effectively and seamlessly for both internal customers and suppliers

  • Analyse tender returns and collate information meeting agreed delivery and compliance service level agreements

  • Provide insight on tender returns to simplify review process for internal customers

  • Ensure that all non-disclosure agreement’s are registered and electronically stored as per current guidelines

What we’re looking for:

An ambitious, keen recent Graduate looking for a successful and rewarding Procurement career working within a fast paced, FTSE 100 organisation where you’ll be able to put your skills into practise and develop further.

Your input will be valued and you’ll want to continually provide suggestions as to how services could be improved or delivered more effectively.

You’ll be able to build excellent stakeholder relationship with the focus on communicating effectively throughout the business developing a strong internal network and positive interactions with third party suppliers.

To be successful in this role, you’ll have excellent analytical skills, including advanced Microsoft Office skills, coupled with string communication and strong attention to detail. You’ll have a natural ability to build professional relationships collaborating with teams across the business.

You must be a recent graduate, or due to graduate, with a 2.1 or above ideally from a Supply Chain / Procurement / Business related subject with a passion for procurement.

Our picturesque office in Denham, Buckinghamshire is easily accessible on the A40/M40.

Alternatively, many of our employees commute from London – there are regular trains from London Marylebone taking approx. 30 minutes, or the Metropolitan or Piccadilly tube lines go to Uxbridge where we provide a free shuttle bus.
