IT is an integral part of the Siemens business and its’ strategy as an integrated technology company. Together with the business, IT drives the internal digitalization and the development of digital products, driving business outcomes, leading IT/OT convergence and acting as one global team.

As a future-thinker you have the opportunity to apply for the role of Head of IT for the Lead Country Bundle Netherlands (LCB NL) covering assigned countries of Siemens business in Netherlands. There is a possibility to have an additional responsibility to be a Business IT Partner for Lead Country bundle. You are part of our global IT team and work closely with the CFO of LCB NL and Head of IT Global Hub.

You will make a difference with:

  • Digital Transformation - you should understand digital technologies, including big data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI) and automation. Together with Business IT you will drive digitalization initiatives across the organization.

  • Business Alignment - listen to our businesses and develop trustful relationships and deep understanding on requirements to implement them together with our Business ITs and global Value Centers.

  • IT strategy implementation - guide global topics into the business and provide a LCB NL voice in shaping the direction of IT back to our headquarters. Enhance use of global solutions.

  • Partnering - orchestration of IT business partner activities to ensure consistent and comprehensive information to Executive Management.

  • User Experience - lead local IT onsite support for end users based on global guidelines along UX.

  • Compliance - handle IT and Cybersecurity compliance with local laws/regulations and given corporate architecture.

You bring the following skills and competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience with an IT & Digitalization background preferred and 10+ years of professional experience and an advanced commercial competence.

  • Possessing profound expert knowledge in IT & Digitalization, and the IT market, strategic portfolio development.

  • Combining an excellent and distinct customer orientation with a holistic IT business perspective/understanding including negotiating experience with customers, contractors, and suppliers.

  • Providing comprehensive leadership and management skills and 8+years of experience in an operational business managing and leading diverse teams in a (virtual) working environment. Intercultural experience and sensitivity are pre-requisite.

  • You can motivate, lead, coach, delegate assigned tasks, and empower your employees to show their potential and deliver the best results.

  • Ability to travel up to 20-30 % of the time, mainly within Europe.

  • Fluency in English and a strong preference for fluency in Dutch. Additional languages are beneficial.

  • 26 days of leave per year on a full time basis.
