POSITION: Assistant Breeder Manager

Job Description

Salary Range: $97,500 to $115,000 per year

DUTIES:

  • To assist with managing all functions and all assets associated with the production of quality hatching eggs at the lowest possible costs for the Colorado Breeder Complex.
  • Assist with managing breeder production issues.
  • Oversee execution of plan for placements; vaccinations; bird movements; pertinent paperwork.
  • Meetings with staff and ranch managers
  • Meet with vendors to obtain project bids/recommendations and deal with billing issues.
  • Provide oversight to feed mill to maintain corporate goals and standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science or related field is desirable.
  • Must have 3+ years in breeder management.
  • Must have a high level of initiative and be a self starter.
  • Must have strong analytical skills.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills.
  • Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills.
  • Must have good organizational and time management skills.
  • Must have good computer skills.
  • Must have ability to follow and enforce all company policies.

SHIFTS: Full Time 40 hours per week

JOB SITE: Delta, CO
