Job Information

Aerotek Forklift Operator Up To 20/hour in Delphos, Ohio

FAST START (No Interview)

Forklift experience IS required (At least 2 years of experience)

2nd and 3rd Shift only available

Description:

  • Candidates will be operating two different types of forklifts on a manufacturing floor

  • This will be putting items away that are coming in, organizing items that are already there, material handling items to keep lines moving and more

  • Most of the position will be on the lift, but will require time on floor if needed to unpack/repack skids, shrink and strap wrap, etc

  • Narrow aisle lifts and standard sit down lifts used (both electric and propane)

  • Due to the nature of the position, candidates will be required to learn a new style of forklift called a combilift (narrow aisle lift) that has a movable fork to enter smaller areas of racking

  • Organizing the product is a major part of this current need

  • Work directly with shipping/receiving

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

MUST HAVES

  • 1+ year of forklift operation IN A MFG SETTING

  • 1+ year of manufacturing experience

  • Ability to work OT as needed

  • Must be able to do forklift AND floor work (pulling labels, scanning products, etc)

PERFECT FIT

  • Use of a combilift, aisle master or narrow aisle forklift in previous experiences

  • Union experience understanding

  • Shipping/receiving work
