We are currently hiring for a pivotal role in Services and Technical Support. This position offers the unique opportunity to work extensively with a comprehensive array of solar radiation measurement instruments, such as pyranometers, pyrheliometers, and solar trackers. We are currently looking to find a Senior Service and Technical Support Specialist (M/F/D) to join our diverse team in Delft (Netherlands).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answer technical queries from customers including solar radiometers, solar trackers. Utilize in-depth product knowledge to provide accurate, comprehensive support

  • Actively participate in capturing customer feedback and channel it to our R&D and product management teams to influence product development and improvements.

  • Inspect solar radiometers and trackers, generate inspection reports and cost estimates.

  • Handle necessary actions to complete a service task including administration procedures, customer communication, work order creation, and materials required for repairs.

  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs, including replacement of faulty electrical, optical, and mechanical components based on company-established procedures and guidelines.

  • Perform calibrations based on company-established procedures and guidelines.

  • Prepare and deliver repaired/calibrated products and work orders to the logistics team.

  • Performing data analytics and analyzing data from solar radiometers and trackers

  • Training and Education: Provide comprehensive trainings and courses for clients on the use and maintenance of solar measurement instruments.

  • Programming and Scripting: Program data loggers and develop scripts for efficient data logging,

  • Custom Equipment Construction: Build customized equipment and machines based on technical drawings.

  • Traveling for on-site installations / trainings / projects

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • An electronics background or a mix of electronics and telecommunication technologies or equivalent work experience.

  • Experienced in field services and leading on-site projects.

  • Problem solving skills

  • Understanding computer networks and their functionality

  • Experience in reading technical drawings and understanding relevant technical documentation.

  • Experience in electronics soldering and repair equipment (multimeter, soldering equipment, etc.) would be considered a great advantage.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Excellent command of English, in addition Dutch language or willingness to learn Dutch is highly desirable
