THE OPPORTUNITY:

Delivery Enablement Lead

As a Delivery Enablement Lead/PMO, your primary focus will be on enabling efficient and effective SW/digital delivery processes, optimizing resource allocation, and enhancing overall demand delivery capabilities in an agile environment. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, squads, pods, project managers, Scrum Masters, Operations Lead and stakeholders to drive velocity and precision in initiatives execution.

You’ll report directly to the ICC Managing director, Mexico ICC Head, and work together with the different Global Chapters to ensure an efficient delivery process. The Delivery Enablement Lead is responsible for successful portfolio / program management and ensure that the delivery is completed successfully, on time, and within budget.

Main Responsibilities:

Demand Delivery Strategy:

  • Translate the digital strategy and evolving product roadmaps into successful programs, and drive decisions necessary for program delivery.

  • Coordinate the planning, initiation, and monitoring of the portfolio at various levels of completion.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and resource optimization.

  • Coordinate teams, plan initiative deliverables together with the Scrum Master, Project Manager or Delivery Manager.

  • Drive cross-chapter initiatives, with a focus on delivery excellence.

  • Coordinating multiple the delivery initiatives.

  • Oversee effective and efficient delivery of the solutions and/or services.

  • Work together with the GCL to develop improvement plans as necessary.

  • Forecast upcoming demand in partnership with ICC MEX Head and the Global Chapter Leads.

  • Work together with the Initiative Leads to plan and schedule the delivery process of each initiative.

  • Ensure that the initiatives included in the portfolio stay on track.

  • Communicate with our stakeholders, Global Chapter Leads, Delivery Managers and Scrum Masters, and other stakeholders, to ensure that everyone is informed and aligned about the progress of the delivery.

  • Work with our stakeholders to understand their expectations.

  • Review the progress of the delivery and identify any issues or concerns that need to be addressed.

  • Engages proactively with stakeholders on the respective levels of their organizations to ensure alignment of expectations and continuous improvement of customer satisfaction.

Resource Planning and Allocation:

  • Collaborate with GCLs, project managers, and other team leads to plan resource allocation.

  • Prioritize activities based on demand and resource availability.

  • Coordinate staffing of ICC members in the pods

  • Manage resource allocation constraints for ICC members across the pods and procure flex resources where appropriate.

  • Manage resource allocation for Global projects.

  • Assess and balance the resourcing needs of the Global pods.

  • Establish and communicate the calendars for Iterations and quarterly delivery plans.

  • Plan, manage and control the Plan of Record (POR) for technology deliverables.

Scaled Delivery

  • Facilitate periodic synchronization meetings (e.g. Scrum of Scrums).

  • Drive relentless improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops to help the pods to improve in partnership with GCLs.

Enablement and Training:

  • Lead iterative solution design and prototyping efforts using user-centric design techniques.

  • Provide training and guidance to delivery teams on best practices and delivery methodologies.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Work closely with relevant with the Head of ICC Mexico and GCL to ensure delivery excellence.

  • Ensure alignment between demand and supply of resources/capabilities.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Track enhancements and project progress.

  • Monitor post-implementation stability and address any issues.

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for each pod (team) in partnership with the GCL to monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of specific processes, such as: Velocity, Throughput, Lead Time, Cycle Time, and Predictability, to name a few.

Risk Management and Escalations – Scaled Level:

  • Identify and assess enterprise risks that could impact the delivery and develop an approach to actively managing these risks.

  • Help manage risks and dependencies at the Planning Iterative level. Escalate and track impediments.

  • Provide input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Business Administration or related fields.

  • Certifications (Desirable):

  • Project Management Professional (PMI)

  • Certified Scrum Master or Product Owner (Preferred institutions are Scrum Org, Scrum Alliance

  • ITIL 4

  • Kanban

  • Disciplined Agile (PMI)

  • ICAgile Certifications

  • SAFe Certifications such as: Scrum Master, Product Owner, Lean Portafolio Managementm to name a few.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience of 8+ experience managing complex portfolios and/or initiatives.

  • Experience as Release Train Engineer at least up to 3 years – or working in a similar role in a fast-paced scaled agile environment.

  • Ability to communicate with Director and Senior Director level partners and stakeholders.

  • Relevant experience working in a hybrid environment: in-site and virtual.

  • Relevant experience in a Global Environment working with multidisciplinary teams across the world in different countries and time zones.

  • Strong understanding of portfolio & delivery management principles.

  • Strong conflict resolution skills to empower teams and drive results.

  • Strong experience analyzing issues and risks and work through approach and strategy to resolve or mitigate.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills fostering collaboration and building strong relationships.

  • Curious, pro-active and a true team player who works to the best of your abilities and inspires colleagues along the way.

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives.

  • Experience managing a wide portfolio of initiatives to meet expectations of stakeholders around the world.

  • Understanding of the SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle).

  • English Professional level.

  • Previous experience working in a pharmaceutical company is a plus.

Software Skills:

  • Atlassian:Jira and Confluence.

  • Miro

  • Microsoft Office, Planner, Microsoft Project.
