LAKE LAWN RESORT Maintenance Technician in DELAVAN, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Responsible for completing complex maintenance work orders as assigned. Perform service requests and repairs as directed. Assist in the training of staff. Adhere to the company\'s safety programs. -Primary emphasis of the position will be on HVAC, electrical, or plumbing. -Perform carpentry tasks as needed. -Prepare labor and material estimates for HVAC/electrical/plumbing/carpentry/painting, etc. projects. -Do troubleshooting and replacement of heating/air conditioning units, plumbing, and electrical. -Repair broken equipment, i.e., heaters, exhaust fans, kitchen equipment, etc. -Complete all unit work orders assigned. -Perform and document preventative maintenance on equipment and systems. -Checks and makes repairs on electrical systems and lightning systems. -Assist with monitoring the cleanliness and temperature of the pools. -Adjust chemicals to pools and backwash filters as necessary. -Respond to emergency situations. -Assist with seasonal snow removal. -Performs other related duties as assigned by the Engineering Supervisor or Manager and/or Chief Engineer. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: -Must be at least 18 years or older. -High school diploma or equivalent -Minimum of two (2) years in role or similar role is preferred. -Preferably with certification or equivalent experience/specialization in at least one of the following: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration and/or carpentry. -Knowledge of/and ability to use all general repair tools (both hand and power) -Basic computer skills needed -Valid Drivers License While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand/walk for long periods at a time, occasionally sitting; use hands to finger, hands to feel; reach with hands and arms. Duties will also require the ability to potentially climb and/ or balance; and kneel, crouch and/or crawl. The employee frequently is required to walk; and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 to 100+ pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The position is indoors and outdoors; and is exposed to hot, humid and/or cold conditions at times. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
