LAKE LAWN RESORT Bartender - Lookout Bar and Eatery in DELAVAN, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: A bartender must be friendly, outgoing and possess good communication skills. A guest\'s dinner and/or bar experience should be equally enjoyable and a bartender plays a major role in the overall picture. Have the ability to perform \"on stage\" as a beverage professional. Adheres to all federal, state and local regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverage, as well as the resort\'s policies regarding liquor service and liability. -Knows and applies federal, state, and local laws governing the service of alcoholic beverages, as well as the resort\'s policies regarding liquor service and liability. -Obtain and verify bank and open register. -Obtain stock from storage areas and refill coolers as needed. -Gathers all needed supplies and equipment for the bar set-up. -Interprets the bar arrangements on banquet contract and plans the set up. -Sets up bar areas according to resort standards and maintains it during service with the assistance of the barbacks. -Ensure customer is of legal drinking age/card individual if they do not appear 21 years of age or older. -Serves properly mixed drinks per recipe to guests, responsibly never over-serving a patron. -Keep bar area clean including bar station and stainless steel areas. -Breaks down the bar at closing and returns all equipment and has a manager checked them out. -Runs tabs, compute guest checks, operates the SMS/Touch system, and accepts payments. -Takes liquor inventory, fills out the consumption report, replaces items in inventory, and accounts for empties utilizing the bottle for bottle requisition system format. The employee frequently is required to walk; and talk or hear. Occasionally will need to climb, kneel and/or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100+ pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The position is indoors and outdoors; and is exposed to hot, humid and/or cold conditions at times. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
