LAKE LAWN RESORT Banquet Set-Up Attendant in DELAVAN, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Sets meeting rooms for meeting, banquet functions or special events on or off property as well as refresh rooms as needed according to banquet event orders. Set-Up and remove tables, chairs, risers, etc. -Move convention props as needed. -Skirt tables for banquets, meetings, and receptions according to established standards. -Stock rooms and banquet functions as necessary. -Reset meeting and banquet functions as necessary. -Perform general cleaning (vacuuming, dusting, etc.) of banquet and meeting rooms and designated public areas. -Move portable room dividers and convention displays. -Move departmental furnishings throughout the property as requested. -Clean, organize and stock department storage area in an on going basis. -Perform general maintenance of all convention services equipment. -Occasionally drive company vehicles and golf carts. -Respond to guest requests, needs and changes. -Sets up banquet rooms completely, including all equipment within the specified time. -Checks all storerooms for packages and/or equipment for meetings and functions. -Maintain function rooms, banquet equipment, furniture, and storage areas. -Breaks down equipment and leaves room in proper order. -Assist banquet waitstaff when need exists and assigned by Banquet Manager, Assistant Banquet Manager, Set-Up Supervisor and/or Banquet Captain. -Reports needed repairs of equipment, furniture and fixtures to Set-Up Supervisor and/or Banquet Manager and/or Assistant Banquet Manager. -Performs other related duties as assigned by the Banquet Manager, Assistant Banquet Manager and/or Set-Up Supervisor. The employee frequently is required to walk; and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The position is indoors and outdoors; and is exposed to wet, hot, humid and/or cold conditions at times. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
