Landscape Structures Inc Electro-Mechanical Technician - 2nd Shift in Delano, Minnesota

Position Summary The Electro-Mechanical Technician works in cooperation with manufacturing, quality, and engineering departments to successfully troubleshoot, and maintain electronic components and PLC systems in equipment. Following the guidance of the Lead Controls Technician, responsible for troubleshooting and repairing/ replacing electrical components and PLC devices in existing equipment. Must possess a strong mechanical troubleshooting background and can perform hands-on preventative and repair maintenance to a variety of Industrial Manufacturing equipment. Hours: 2 PM-10 PM M-F. Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain existing equipment and PLC-controlled systems. Perform preventative and repair maintenance to production equipment. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical components (electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical), PLC and HMI systems. Interact with electrical control systems of various voltages (3 phase 480v, 120v, 24v AC and DC) Ability to determine the root cause of equipment failures, execute mechanical repairs, and establish/ document maintenance procedures. Team member on various lean improvement projects. Actively involved in Kaizen/Lean events, internal audits, action items, and various engineering projects.
