**Backer Marathon is accepting applications for Shipping Clerk

**Ideal candidates must have the following qualities: Hardworking and reliable Excellent attendance and punctuality Work well in a Team environment

** RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Prepare and print shipping labels corresponding to shipping needs. Assemble and fill boxes with items that need to be shipped. Affix proper postage to each package in preparation for shipping. Process orders based on the buyers preferred shipping system (e.g. USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.) Contact carrier and schedule shipping for each package. Maintain a clean and safe work area and update supplies as needed.

**QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or Equivalency preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Computer literate Initiative and good organization skills. Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure. Ability to lift heavy objects (50lbs.) Must be able to perform a wide variety of tasks with minimal supervision. Ability to operate a pallet jack and forklift.
