JOB TITLE: Quality-Safety Coordinator.

2.0 REPORTS TO: Quality Manager.

3.0 JOB OVERVIEW: Quality: Ensure that the products meet the quality standards and perform Integrated Management System activities. Safety: Follow-up Health and Safety program per OSHA regulations.

4.0 RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Safety is First. Develop and conduct Safety training sessions. Perform/review hazard assessments / accident investigations and develop corrective actions / measures to mitigate and control job hazards. Develop/perform/coordinate/document inspections of health and safety equipment and identify/follow up on corrective actions. Review and audit the safety and health programs for adequacy, compliance, and effectiveness. Coordinate First Aid response teams and Emergency Brigades. Keep MSDS Data Sheet Library. Perform other related duties as assigned. Quality Evaluate any non-conforming raw material and keep control of Quarantine area. Communicate supplier issues and follow up for corrective actions and disposition. Keep updated Quarantine Log. Keep track of Remakes follow-up activities and Remakes data entry. Coordinates Document control of Manufacturing documents in Liaison with ISO Representative. Keep track and update the Calibration System. Performs Internal calibration and takes care of external calibration. Support RMAs creation/follow up when needed. Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalency required; college preferred. Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards required. Safety related background preferred. Computer literate, data entry, excel, e-mail, copy machine. Must be able to prioritize/analyze the importance level of tasks. Proactive, initiative, and good organization. Ability to lift heavy objects (50lbs) Must be willing to perform a wide variety of tasks with minimal supervision. Excellent attendance and work ethic. Strong communication skills. Bilingual.
