Principal Service Solutions Adjustment Technician in Deer Valley, Arizona

Principal Service Solutions is hiring Adjustment Technicians who will be trained in the modification, installation, servicing, and maintaining semiconductor equipment in a manufacturing facility.

This is a long-term, full-time position with full benefits and training, this position is located in Northern Phoenix, closer to Deer Valley, AZ.

SUMMARY:

Installation Adjustment Technician is part of the Site Project Team which is responsible for installing company equipment at customer’s facilities. The position is responsible for field commissioning Automated Material Handling Systems equipment from the first power application, through final acceptance testing with the customer.

Pay Rate $25.00-28.00 DOE

Schedule:

  • Monday to Saturday 6 am- 4 pm (60-hour work week) for 2 weeks

  • Monday to Friday 6 am - 4 pm (50-hour work week) 

  • Overtime is paid after 40 hours a week

  • Rotating shift schedule 60/60/50 every 3 weeks  

    RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.  

  • Follow all corporate safety protocols and report unsafe conditions.

  • Perform routine installations and/or maintenance on assigned products.

  • Perform log analysis of system errors during Qualification and test.

  • Assist on-the-job training to the internal technician in routine operation, installation, and troubleshooting of assigned products.

  • Effectively troubleshoot issues for both hardware and software.

  • Professionally interact with and understand technical information from the internal team.  Professionally interact with multi-national and multi-language teams.

  • Prepare and submit all necessary paperwork and Status Reporting with supervision. 

  • Input data to QA / QC check sheet and report creation and submission to Installation Site Manager.

  • Attend daily field meetings.

  • Work with minimum supervision, as needed.

  • Recommend technical solutions/resolutions to engineer groups.

    REQUIREMENTS:

  • Technical School or Military Certification is preferred

  • No degree required

  • Knowledge of electrical diagnostic instruments and shop/hand tools.

  • Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints and diagnose/troubleshoot electromechanical devices.

  • Ability to work in a team environment and be a team player. Flexible, and willing to work a compressed work week.

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

  • Ability to work with heights, (Ladder, Scissor lift, Etc.)

  • Working knowledge of Digital Voltmeter and Oscilloscope functionality

  • PC skills (MS Office, Excel, Windows)

  • Valid Driver’s License and ability to obtain all necessary travel documents.
