Essentia Health Paid Training - Nursing Assistant Student (PRN) - Long Term Care in Deer River, Minnesota

Job Description:

Seeking individuals ready to start a new career! If you are interested in getting into the medical field this is a great entry level position. Essentia will pay for your training to receive your Certified Nursing Assistant certification. Once you pass your test, you will be promoted to a CNA, including a raise and a schedule. The Nursing Assistant - Student program offers a NO COST training to individuals interested in pursuing a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with Essentia Health. The program covers the full cost of education and the certification exam to become a CNA. EARN INCOME while training - providing indirect care to patients. Here's what the training will consist of: Responsible to assist the licensed professionals and direct care staff with personal cares per individualized care plans to maintain the personal comfort of the resident as assigned Help maintain a clean, safe and organized environment for the residents. Assist with basic personal cares, including assistance in with meal setup and water pass Provides activity and exercise for the residents as assigned Assists residents in dealing with psychosocial needs Responsible for observing and reporting any changes in a resident’s condition to the supervisor Completes all required documentation in a complete and timely manner May assist with entrance screening and other duties as assigned.
