Chemours is seeking an IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our growing Information Technology team! This position will report directly to the IT Service Delivery Lead at our Penns Grove, NJ location.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Support the entire lifecycle including inventory, installation, deployment, break-fix (HW and SW), asset return and end-of-life management

  • Provide second-tier support for end-user support escalations, including potential off-hours, on-site manufacturing critical PC/Network support

  • Perform all functions required to install, configure, and test computer software, applications and/or upgrades on company-issued devices, including personal computers, tablets, virtual desktop clients, mobile devices, and connections to the networked environment

  • Provide training to end-user support resources and employees on the use of technology, as appropriate.

  • Develop and implement support technician documentation, tools, and processes

  • Identify and develop approaches to solve moderate-level IT issues and recommend improvements

  • Support Service Delivery “End to End” for IT and OT Server, Network, and IIoT solutions, work with vendors, and teams to ensure business results

  • Support Sites Telcom network.

  • Interact with key business leaders to understand new requirements for services and in the support and resolution of problems

  • Support of Microsoft Server, and Cisco Networks in Manufacturing environments

  • Support Cyber Security Requirements for Systems and Services

  • Drive end-to-end resolutions for all issues in a site environment

  • Participate in special projects, as appropriate

  • 24x7 Operational Support (On Call for Critical System Support)

The following is required for this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related area or an Associate's degree with 5+ years of equivalent experience

  • 3+ years experience supporting Local Area Networks

  • Experience supporting Wireless Networks

  • Experience with Cisco Technologies

  • Familiarity with a variety of networking and personal computer software

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to describe technology solutions in business terms.

  • Ability to manage multiple vendors to resolve business-critical problems

  • Ability to manage complex Systems integrating multiple technologies

  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving up to 30 pounds

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

  • Travel between sites will be required (Wilmington area & NJ)

The following is preferred for this role:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office365 Services and tools (Teams, Sharepoint, PowerBI, Power Automate…)

  • Experience with Endpoint Security tools like Endpoint Privilege Management or Password Safe/LAPS Tools

  • Experience with Windows scripting languages such as PowerShell and Batch Three (3) years supporting Microsoft Windows Operating System Environment.

  • Three (3) years of user support experience, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

  • Three (3) years supporting Cisco Network Environment.

  • Information Technology Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Net+, Cisco or equivalent

$81,715.00 - $127,680.00
