Universal Metalcraft is seeking a Manual Machinist to join their TEAM!

  • [The candidate will be able to machine on the following equipment:]{verdana=""}
    • Manual Engine Lathes
    • Knee Mills
    • Horizontal Boring Mills
    • Drill Presses
    • Grinders

[SKILL REQUIREMENTS]{verdana=""}

  • Be able to use Overhead Hoists and Forklifts
  • Possess skills such as turning, boring, threading, and facing a must
  • [Must be proficient with the following measuring tools:]{verdana=""}
    • Micrometer
    • Calipers
    • Depth Gages
  • Setup and use jigs, fixtures (collets), arbors, and mandrels
  • Mathematical skills to compute angles, radii, bolt circles, and dimensions to .0005 inch
  • Be able to do tool layouts, read blueprints, adjust speed, and feed rates, and depth of cuts.
  • CNC Mill knowledge and Welding experience a plus
