The Industrial Engineer will work closely with representatives of the Product Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering departments, in addition to Production staff, to make changes and ensure accuracy of product data such as routings and standard cost. As part of those activities the Industrial Engineer will be responsible for projects which improve manufacturing operations including increased output, higher product quality, and/or reduced manufacturing costs while maintaining or improving operator safety. Accountabilities include creation of routings, implementation of product data changes and processing changes through the PDM system (Windchill), cost calculations, implementing ergonomic and safety improvements, increasing labor efficiencies, supporting cost savings initiatives, documentation of manufacturing and other business processes.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to perform responsibilities in both office and manufacturing floor environments
  • Occasional willingness to perform duties outside of a typical workday/workweek
  • Ability to work independently/with minimal supervision
  • Collaborative in nature - able to work across all levels of the organization

Desired Qualifications:

  • Cost Calculation Experience
  • Experience Managing Bills of Material and Routings
  • Experience utilizing Windchill for Change Management
  • Lean Manufacturing Experience
  • Six Sigma Green Belt

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in relevant field or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 2 years progressive work related experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office & AutoCAD
  • Must be able to work well with hourly and salaried personnel
