Position Description:

• Develop Electrified Powertrain Control System work products that coordinate actions and High Level Functions between modules and subsystems to meet vehicle level and Feature attributes such as: o Functional requirements o Quality Documents (Boundary Diagrams, FMEA, P-Diagram, Interface Matrix) o Design Validation Method (DVM) – Test Specification o Design Validation Plan and Report (DVP&R) – Test Report • Software in the Loop (SIL)/ Hardware in the Loop (HIL) test development and automation • Perform System level testing in vehicle, on breadboard or using Software/Hardware in the Loop • Submit Communication Network Interface Design requests to identify signals transmitted and received by vehicle control modules (CAN, Services, Ethernet)

Skills Required:

Control System Development

Skills Preferred:

Analyze vehicle communication data and ECU diagnostics • Support Functional Safety tasks where necessary • Support control system quality/field issue root cause investigation and issue resolution • Perform system simulation modeling (if necessary)

Experience Required:

• Electric Vehicle Experience • 3+ years’ experience in control system design or calibration • Experience with vehicle systems and/or vehicle level attributes • Good team interpersonal skills and practices • Understanding of powertrain systems, components and electrified vehicles Driver's License

xperience Preferred:

• Troubleshooting experience with mechanical, electromechanical and software systems • Ability to manage/resolve urgent launch/Quality concerns • Strong leadership skills, passion for quality, passion to improve customer satisfaction • Very effective ability to explain technical details and gain alignment and consensus on solutions. • Understanding of programing languages and tools (C , Matlab, Simulink etc) • Experience with data recording tools (ATI, CANalyzer)

Education Required:

• BSME or BSEE Engineering/Software Field
