  • <2 years of experience

oMechanical Package Engineer to develop overall vehicle layout and occupant package targets (roominess, driver visibility, ingress/egress/, cargo, efficiency), create CAD geometry, monitor compliance as designs evolve, propose solutions to issues, and drive them to closure; orchestration of overall vehicle layout with cross-functional organizations including Design Studio and Body Engineering, ensuring design integration and geometric compatibility

  • Qualifications:

Qualifications:

Vehicle layout knowledge, CAD authoring capability, ability to lead teams, and develop cross functional issue resolution proposals after understanding stakeholders’ technical and/or architectural constraints

Skills Preferred: Familiarity with automotive systems, SAE dimensions, CATIA

Experience Required: Experience developing overall vehicle architecture and/or interior environment to meet customer requirements with either an OEM auto company or major university vehicle design project team
