Description:

Client is hiring experienced engine and hybrid powertrain calibrators for our global internal combustion engine, diesel, and hybrid electric vehicles. We are looking for engineers who have 2+ years of calibration experience developing and delivering drivability, tailpipe or evaporative emissions, or on board diagnostics. The position includes working in vehicles on road and at test facilities including Allen Test Park Lab, Drivability Test Facility, etc. Models and data simulation may be used too. Calibrators use in vehicle data acquisition systems and are well versed in data analysis and scripting tools. Some travel may be included to hot weather, cold weather, and altitude test locations.

  • BS or MS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
  • Propulsion systems calibration engineering. (engine or HEV calibration) experience.
  • Proficient in data analysis 3) Technical knowledge.
  • Responsible, enthusiastic, and ready to deliver fantastic products and work with a great team.

Skills Preferred:

  • Can read C code.
  • Can write engineering scripts.
  • Control systems knowledge

Experience Required:

  • 2+ years of propulsion systems calibration experience

Experience Preferred:

  • Delivered drivability calibration.
  • Delivered tailpipe or evaporative emissions calibration.
  • Delivered on board diagnostics calibration.

Education Required:

  • B.S in ME or EE

Education Preferred:

  • M.S in ME or EE
