Who we are looking for: We are currently looking for a Maintenance Manager to be based out of De Pere, WI. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this person will be responsible for leading the Maintenance team and managing the functions of the Maintenance department and to aid and improve the operational performance of the facility. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor\'s degree in facility management or related field. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus. What you\'ll do: Responsible for the creation and implementation of best practice maintenance vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance. Contribute to new business initiatives and projects, identifying the impact on maintenance activities. Manage relevant systems and equipment data storage while maintaining high levels of standards and accuracy. Manage end-to-end process of the introduction of new machinery and/or equipment from design inception through full installation, working in collaboration with all necessary parties. Manage the end-to-end process of disposal of obsolete machinery and/or equipment from gaining agreement through removal, ensuring safe and lawful disposal. Lead various projects, to include \"Just Do-Its\" and \"Capital Expenditures\". Provide technical expertise in all areas relating to the functions of the maintenance department. Identify and deploy the technical skill sets, resource levels, and systems to deliver on projects, including the engagement of external resources when needed. Manage contractors on site regarding safety and contractual requirements. Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of staff and visitors.
