Description

The Shipping and Receiving Specialist/Materials Handler will transport materials, supplies, and finished products to designated locations.

Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum experience in the following areas:

Excellent verbal communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Good math and written communication skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/MRP software.

Efficient time management skills.

High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or other formal training in related field preferred.

At least two years of related experience is required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively communicate information with managers and other employees, both orally and in writing.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as rate, ratio, interest, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply concepts of introductory algebra.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding carrying out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
