Position Location: Dayton, OH (Telework available when authorized/hybrid) About the Role: The Advanced Signal Process and Experimentation Laboratory (ASPEN) Logistics Specialist will provide strategic planning, development, and implementation of processes and capabilities required for information management (IM) of the ASPEN lab resources, networks, and computers. Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To: Provide support to security functions within the ASPEN lab, including periodic alarm checks, acting as the administrator for the ASPEN alarm panel, and acting as the administrator for ASPEN room access. Support the ASPEN lab manager with generation, tracking, and maintenance of lab security procedures, operations documentation, and user training. Support the ASPEN Lab Manager in the day-to-day management of the lab and provide security assistance as needed within the lab. Support, prepare, submit, and track all C&A packages of all ASPEN computer information systems for directorate-level and higher headquarters approval, and ensure that all systems are in compliance with Department of Defense Information Technology (IT) C&A process regulations. Responsible for handling all waiver requests and creating the waiver packages including processing information, filling out templates, performing documents review, conducting follow-ups with customers, and routing all required forms and information, and updating all waiver package attachments. Provide assistance with ASPEN lab security processes and documentation including performing End-of-Day (EOD) security checks and security alarm processes. Support Emanations Security (EMSEC) issues such as supply requests for diagrams, and equipment lists, provide sample documentation, ensure countermeasures being observed in all visited areas, provide updates to directorate security, and answer questions for new projects coming up.
