Job Brief RADAR Engineer DCS IST Air and Space Technology Sector is an employee-owned organization with a reputation for agile and efficient development of technology solutions for U.S. Defense, Aerospace, Human Factors, and Security markets. We continue to provide innovative solutions with our multidisciplinary teams formed with exceptional employees. We are seeking an Engineer to support extensive high visibility development efforts. As a member of our team, you will support U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) efforts in Dayton, OH. This offers opportunities to work in a dynamic environment, with state-of-the-art technologies, simulation integration experts, and Subject Matter Experts (SME). This work focuses on RADAR algorithm research and development efforts for the U.S. DoD. Essential Job Functions: Research and develop algorithms for automated measurement extractions to resolve customer requirements and merge with existing systems, enhancing mission analysis. Leverage knowledge of RADAR phenomenology and analysis to algorithm development. Guide and mentor teammates as needed. Additional duties as assigned. Required Skills: Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. At least a BS degree in STEM-focused studies, and at least 8 years of related experience. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information: possess a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Familiarity with RADAR phenomenology/analysis. Experience in Object-Oriented Programming. Ability and desire to work in a group environment. Possession of excellent English oral and written communication skills. Algorithm development and optimization skills. Diverse engineering work background (multiple disciplines or multiple technologies). Desired Skills: Experience with LOS analysis and tools. Familiarity with sensor and signal processing techniques. MS in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or related technical discipline. Familiarity with modern military systems, both foreign and domestic. NASIC or Intelligence Community experience preferred.
