The DuPont Electronics & Industrial business is seeking an Area Leader at our Dayton, Ohio site. This role provides leadership for plant operations supporting three strong DuPont businesses; DuPont Electronic Polymers, HD Microsystems, and DuPont Advanced Printing. The role has leadership responsibility of approximately 30 employees consisting of operators, first line supervisors, and support personnel.
The Dayton Plant is located along Interstate 75 in the City of Dayton, which is in southwest Ohio. The Dayton site employs 100 people, including 25 resident contractors. The Dayton plant produces polymers in batch reactors that are used in a variety of semiconductor applications, including photolithography and semiconductor packaging. The site also produces materials used in inkjet printing.
The greater Dayton area is a great place to live, having all the amenities of a big city along with midwestern charm and affordability. It is home to many museums, outstanding parks, and is a short drive from Columbus and Cincinnati.
Area Leader is a leadership role focused on building fully engaged and competent teams that deliver results in line with the area performance goals in a safe and efficient way.
Your key responsibilities:

Knows the site/unit/area products, our customers and their requirements

Qualifications:
Typically, 5 years relevant experience
Influential People leadership
Lean Six Sigma methodologies
Digitally enabled tools and systems
BS, Sciences, Engineering, Supply Chain
Six Sigma/Lean Practitioner, preferred
