Job Brief Systems Engineer DCS IST Air and Space Technology Sector is an employee-owned organization with a reputation for agile and efficient development of technology solutions for U.S. Defense, Aerospace, Human Factors, and Security markets. We continue to provide innovative solutions with our multidisciplinary teams formed with exceptional employees. We are seeking an Engineer to support extensive high visibility R&D efforts. As a member of our team, you will support U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) efforts in Dayton, OH. This offers opportunities to work in a dynamic environment, with state-of-the-art technologies, simulation integration experts, and Subject Matter Experts (SME). This work focuses on object tracking R&D efforts for the U.S. DoD. Essential Job Functions: Research and develop of tracking and fusion algorithms to meet customer requirements and enhance existing post mission analysis systems. Develop and integrate new features into the Post Mission Object Tracker tool. This entails automated track association from different sensor subsystems using various track filters. Integrate tracking algorithms in native code/language (C++). Guide and mentor teammates as needed. Additional duties as assigned. Required Skills: Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. At least a BS degree in STEM-focused studies, and at least 2 years of related experience. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information: possess a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Knowledge or experience working with tracking algorithms. Ability and desire to work in a group environment. Possession of excellent English oral and written communication skills. Diverse engineering work background (multiple disciplines or multiple technologies). Desired Skills: Experience with LOS analysis software development. MS in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or related technical discipline. Familiarity with modern military systems, both foreign and domestic. NASIC or Intelligence Community experience preferred.
