Belcan Services Group Ltd Partnership Manufacturing Test Engineer in Dayton, Ohio
Details: A Test Engineer job in Dayton, OH is currently available through Belcan at one of our key aerospace systems manufacturing clients. To be considered for this role, you will have a Bachelor"s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology, and at least two years of experience in a test facility environment. In this you, you will be responsible for completing the required technical activities, as well as all necessary reports and documentation, in compliance with the quality and deliverable requirements provided by the testing team leadership in support of key new product development activities. Job Duties: * Establish and enact test plans for product components and subcomponents and power transmission subassemblies. * Perform and analyze basic and advanced testing and analysis as need to support design and development and test objectives. * Provide hands-on support to the technical teams through preparation and execution of test programs and test set-up and test execution. * Write and develop LabVIEW programs to automate and monitor tests. * Assist in the general maintenance, upkeep, and improvement in the lab and its capabilities by ensuring that the systems and equipment are functioning properly. Required: * Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical), Engineering Technology, or related discipline. * Five to seven years of experience designing or developing electro-mechanical systems * Minimum of two years of experience in testing and test evaluation in a manufacturing or test facility environment. * Experience with LabView for both data acquisition and control applications. Preferred: * Experience working with reciprocating diesel engines and gas turbine engines and engine control * Ability to understand complex engineering principles / situations / problems * Strong oral and written communication skills * Experience with AC and DC motors, drives, and complex test arrangements * Experience working with precision data transducers for both mechanical and electrical signal data acquisition. Compensation: We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary of $93,000 to $104,000 however Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
