Then using this information to design safe, reliable, cost-effective projects to serve these needs. This position is responsible for Distribution Engineering, Joint Use as well as Pricing and Invoicing Main Responsibilities: Responsible for direct supervision of Distribution Engineering, Joint-use, Pricing and Invoicing staff. Works with and provides technical support to several internal departments including Planning, Standards, Metering, Test Department, Network, Call Center, Major Accounts, Contractor, Customer Dispatch Operations, Systems Operating and Line Department Takes ownership role in working with customers and ensuring they are supplied with safe, reliable, and cost-effective power. Plans, schedules, and directs day-to-day departmental activities relating to area of accountabilities. Manages major and highly political projects, as well as provides troubleshooting skills to complete these projects on time and within budget. Plan, submit, and operates within a budget. Notifies and makes recommendations to senior management on technical issues. Approves customer invoice amounts. Works Storms, as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering-related field from an accredited college/university Candidates must have 5-7 years work experience in electric distribution operations. Experience with leading and managing professional work groups. PE is preferred but not required.
