Job Description

We seek a talented and driven Integrated Process Subject Matter Expert III (Senior) to join our Orders to Cash (O2C) team. Responsible for all functional requirements performed in the DEAMS Oracle iReceivables, Project Costing, Project Billing Modules and associated reports, interfaces, conversions, and extensions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process integration, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with government personnel and other contractors. The person will also support the DEAMS Functional Management Office (FMO), Air Force Accounting Operations Center (AFAOC), and Air Force field commands' use of the DEAMS application.

Duties and experiences include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Conduct thorough reviews, investigations, and diagnoses of tickets via the government's ticket management system, resolving them within 30 calendar days or providing bi-weekly updates until resolution.

  • Developing and updating program requirements documentation in line with workshops, user inputs, ERP, federal best practices, and applicable laws, regulations, and policies.

  • Engaging in solution development working groups to represent functional users and ensure accurate interpretation of requirements.

  • Reviewing and providing feedback on Functional Design, Technical Design, Test Condition Expected Result, and test script documentation, adhering to the Integrated Master Schedule.

  • Participating in integrated testing, delivering test results, and documenting bugs related to testing outcomes, utilizing provided testing software and tools.

  • Prepare and deliver detailed release notes to AFAOC, outlining system changes and configuration updates at least 5 business days before software releases.

  • Contribute to updating job aids and desktop procedures to reflect software updates and configuration changes.

  • Provide expert post-release support, including troubleshooting, responding to user issues, and identifying defects or missed requirements.

  • Facilitate auditor inquiries by demonstrating DEAMS functionality and explaining system and business process details.

  • Develop and document effective user workarounds for software defects and system changes, ensuring these are accurately recorded in the Government's ticket management system and JIRA for inclusion in the team backlog.

Experience Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience

Desired Experience:

  • Working knowledge of DoD Financial Management systems, processes, and procedures

  • Working knowledge of Air Force Financial Management systems, processes, and procedures

  • Functional knowledge of Federal applications of Oracle eBusiness software

  • Technical knowledge of Federal applications of Oracle eBusiness software

  • Functional Experience with Oracle Federal Financial audit capabilities

  • Working knowledge of DoD legacy financial management systems and processes

  • Working knowledge of Federal and Defense financial audit processes

  • Functional Expertise in operational Standard Financial Information Structure (SFIS)

Certification Requirements:

Desired Certifications

  • Agile software certifications, including scrum master or product owner

  • Certifications in SAFe Agile Framework

  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)

  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)

  • Functional Experience as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

  • Functional Experience as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)

  • Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) Certification

  • Government Financial Manager (CGFM) Certification
