Job Title EPASS GBB.072 Systems Analyst (Senior) Location Ohio- Kettering Office - Kettering, OH 45409 US (Primary) Job Description Torch Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Analyst located Kettering, OH (Dayton/WPAFB area) to support our EPASS GB contract. As part of the AFLCMC/GB Business and Enterprise Systems Directorate (BES), the Acquisition Support and Business Systems Branch currently supports 16 projects/initiatives that include legacy contracting systems, enterprise information systems, and acquisition support systems. Within this mission area, GBBB also serves as a "basket SPO" for those projects that are at a appoint in their life-cycle where they either don't require dedicated resources or have not yet garnered sufficient funding for dedicated support and therefore operate in a shared support environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/POSITION DESCRIPTION: This position requires a highly motivated individual with systems analyst experience to include the job duties below: The candidate will perform work that involves applying analytical processes to the planning, design, and implementation of new and improved information systems to meet the business requirements of customer organizations. Functions required to be performed by individuals in this specialty may include: * Performing needs analyses to define opportunities for new or improved business process solutions; Consulting with customers to identify and recommending requirements; Recommending overall functional and systems requirements and specifications; Conducting business process reengineering; Conducting feasibility studies and trade-off analyses; Preparing business cases for the application of IT solutions; Recommending systems scope and objectives; Developing cost estimates for new or modified systems; Ensuring the integration of all systems components, e.g., procedures, databases, policies, software, and hardware; Planning systems implementation; and/or, Ensuring the rigorous application of information security/cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices to the systems analysis process. Documents requirements (both functional and non-functional), creates user stories, and works with project team to refine and estimate backlog items. Document Definition of Ready/Done and User Acceptance criteria for backlog items. Collaborates with Scrum Master and Capability Delivery Team (CDT) to identify and prioritize backlog enabler work. Splits user stories determined or proven too large to be completed within the team's time-boxed sprints. Strikes a balance between functional requirements, non-functional requirements, and continuous improvement. Aligns and prioritizes Product Backlog according to the product vision and roadmap. Partners with Capability Delivery Manager (CDM) to develop the rolling release plan. Coordinates user interface/user experience (UI/UX) engagements with functional community to enhance the Development Team's understanding of end-user requirements. Participates in all team ceremonies to answer questions, clarify user needs, and increase team collaboration. Accepts the work accomplished by the CDT that meets the Definition of Done at Sprint Review
