Configuration Data Manager Configuration Data Manager, Senior Wright Patterson Air Force Base Dayton, Ohio HX5 is an award-winning provider of engineering, research and development, and technical services to clients such as NASA and the Department of Defense. Founded in 2004, HX5 is a fast-growing veteran- and woman-owned company with locations nationwide. HX5 is currently seeking a Configuration Data Manager to support the Mobility Directorate for transport, training, and tanker aircraft at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This person will apply knowledge of the fundamentals of configuration management to establish and maintain consistency of a product's performance, functional, and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information throughout its life. Responsibilities include: Receipt, dissemination, processing, tracking, and final disposition of all configuration changed documentation such as ECPs and CCPs Assist in the preparation and conduct of Configuration Control Boards (CCB) and business management boards Assist in the development and management of all CDRL requirements. Plan and conduct audits (FCAs/PCAs) and confirm the adequacy of data used for these audits. Review and evaluate OEM proposals and reports for configuration status accounting of assigned systems/subsystem(s) and compliance with Government technical data requirements. Provide support to the DR function operation of the Joint Deficiency Reporting System (JDRS) or similar system Education and Experience: Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: High school diploma and Ten (10) years of related professional experience Five (5) years of DoD experience. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours. Other Position Requirements: Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position. Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation. Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. Must be able to travel, including air travel.
