Job Brief Computer Engineering DCS Corporation is an employee-owned organization known for creating agile technology solutions across the U.S. Defense, Aerospace, Human Factors, and Security markets. We are seeking developers who are skilled at testing and performing integration of microservice based systems. This work would be performed in support of a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) customer in Dayton, Ohio, in a dynamic environment with state-of-the-art simulation technologies, and Subject Matter Experts (SME). Essential Job Functions: Analyze, design and develop computer software required to support hardware or technical service products. Perform systems modeling, simulation, and analysis. Review system architecture; select and implement appropriate development and support tools to ensure product performance. Test and perform integration of microservice based systems. Collaborate with team members and customer to identify study requirements, develop relevant technical approaches or to improve custom tools. Work both individually with minimal guidance and with a broader engineering team. Some intermittent short-term travel may be required. Requirements: Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. At least a Bachelor level degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field, and two years of related experience. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet eligibility for access to classified information: Active TS/SCI security clearance. Skills in one or more of the following programming languages: C++, Java, Python, MATLAB. Experience with Linux, with strong preference for RHEL. Experience with GitLab. Possession of excellent English oral and written communication skills. Ability to work well in team environments. Ability to travel, as required. Desired: MS in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or related technical discipline. Experience with one or more of the following: Open Mission Systems (OMS), Kubernetes, QT, AFSIM.
