Nurses Etc. Staffing is searching for a Certified Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Patterson AFB,OH Certified Respiratory Therapist* Position Offers:*

*Certified Respiratory Therapist *Qualifications: Education

  • Associates Degree. Graduate from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)
  • Must have knowledge of general anatomy and physiology, cardiopulmonary system structures and functions; basic pharmacology; patient care theory, procedures, and techniques; medical terminology, aseptic techniques medical ethics; resuscitation techniques; maintaining and operating cardiopulmonary laboratory diagnostic and therapeutic equipment; medications, and medical computer systems.

Certifications:

  • Possess certification as Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Shall maintain current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Workers in accordance with American Heart Association or equivalent (i.e., American Cross)
  • Maintain current certification requirements in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP), and PALS. Highly desirable: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) to include current, full, active, and unrestricted license.

Experience:

  • One year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist after graduation. and in addition: At least 12 months of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, Certified within the last 36 months.
