Position Summary 

 

The Business Analyst will support the DOD IT modernization team in its efforts to change its business information technology and business processes. The successful individual will have relevant experience in enterprise analysis, requirements analysis and solution assessment and validation techniques, and can quickly adapt to our custom Agile framework. The Business Analyst will be responsible for partnering and collaborating with internal team members and stakeholders to capture, communicate, and manage all requirements to enable efficient, incremental project delivery.

 

Some of the responsibilities include: 

  • Solicit, understand, and document the client's business requirements, processes, and workflows. 
  • Must have Business Process experience and the ability to analyze and adapt processes for establishing across different technical organizations.
  • Must have relevant experience in enterprises analysis, requirements analysis and solution assessment and validation techniques, and can quickly adapt to our custom Agile framework.
  • Work with a team to analyze business requirements for delivery to internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Analyzes the organizations business requirements and assist in design and development activities. 
  • Discovering and documenting existing business and operational processes.
  • Define and document acceptance criteria that will be used by the team.
  • Authoring programmatic documents, operating instructions, and success stories.
  • Performing technical writing and other related duties.
  • Ability to translate technical information and concepts into non-technical language.
  • Develop and maintain a trusted partnership with the stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify, prioritize, and execute tasks and meet commitments.

     Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or related field. 

  • 3+ years of experience in Business Analyst principles in support of AF systems and process. 
  • Experience and/or knowledge of DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and other architecture models.

``` - Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).  - Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) preferred. - Experience with Agile tools (Confluence, JIRA, DevOps, etc.) preferred. - Ability to evaluate, develop, and deliver Business Use Case (as-is), Business Use Case (to-be), business process flow diagrams, and value streams.  - Understanding of business analysis principles, processes, and techniques.  - Ability to plan and organize in complex, fast-paced environments.  - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  - U.S. Citizenship - Must live within 50 miles of Wright Patterson Air Force Base. - Currently on-site one day a week but may change based on the customer needs. - Ability to obtain U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance
