Administrative Assistant

Part-time (25 hours/week)

$15/hour

SCHEDULE: (Determined on case by case basis)

 

Paid vacation, personal and sick time available for this part-time position.

 

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES

Responsible for effective and efficient administrative and clerical operations.

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Performs clerical duties including, but not limited to: answering the phones; assisting with correspondence; and copying and scanning documents.

  2. Maintain volunteer and program files in compliance with program policies and procedures.

  3. Collect, review and complete stipend sheets in coordination with the program coordinator.

  4. Assist program coordinator in processing assignment plans, surveys, enrollment forms, and other volunteer paperwork.

  5. Enter forms and data into data management system and/or shared drive, as is required by program policies and procedures.

  6. Assist the program coordinator with preparing for and during volunteer in-service trainings, orientations, advisory council meetings, and recognition events.

  7. Comply with agency policies and procedures as well as federal and state requirements, such as branding rules established by AmeriCorps.

  8. Assist with maintaining a safe work environment.

  9. Intermittent travel throughout service counties as needed.

  10. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

  2. Ability to follow instructions and to work independently.

  3. Ability to maintain discretion with confidential data.

  4. Experience with Microsoft Office and Apricot.

  5. Valid Ohio Driver's License, reliable transportation, and ability to meet agency requirements for driving insurability.

  6. Must be able to meet agency requirements for criminal background check (Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification & Investigation and FBI).

     

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL / LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS

High school graduate. Preferred two years of experience in administrative support role and/or clerical work.
