· The Bonding Associate completes various chemical processes including operation of the chemical processing line, blasting and adhesive spray to ensure all requirements are met and product is ready for bonding.

· Read, interpret and follow manufacturing documentation including prints and routers to ensure the production of conforming products

· Sets up and operates manual and automated equipment for chemical processing, media blasting, cleaning, priming, adhesive application and other related preparation activities

· Performs cleaning of product as necessary

· Completes necessary paperwork and documentation to ensure quality conformance and the proper movement and control of product

· Ensures all equipment and materials used to perform job functions are compliant to procedures

· Proactively improves area processes, procedures and documentation through Kaizen activities and collaboration with area leadership and Engineering

· Responsible for the proper storage and disposition of hazardous waste

· Performs all required preventative maintenance activities

· Aid in preparation for and participates in all required area audits

· Adheres to all safety guidelines and procedures

· Other assignments as required

Competencies Required

· Willingness to work 3rdshift

· Able to communicate effectively with management, and co-workers to promote strong working relationships and create an environment focused on teamwork

· Flexible with work and job assignments and willing to perform any function as needed

· Must be dependable and available to work overtime when required

· Understands and demonstrates comprehension of drawings, blueprints and Manufacturing Work Instructions

· Proficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook

· Self-motivated and ability to work effectively and efficiently with limited supervision

· Ability to carry/ lift up to 35 lbs. (50% of the time). Must have the ability to stand, kneel, squat, stoop, use fingers and hands to feel, lift or handle tools, parts and equipment.

Work Experience

Required

· At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or similar work environment required; 2 + years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment preferred
