General Position Summary:

ES3 is currently recruiting an Engineering & Design Technician to support a variety of technical functions to assist project development to include, but not limited to CAD design, GD&T, drawing development, reverse engineering, and other duties as assigned. This position also requires the candidate to be able to draw read detailed drawings for component and system level designs. This is a multi-faceted position that requires a variety of technical skills. Applicant must be a good problem solver, be self-motivated and work well in a team-oriented environment. Our professional engineers and technicians are the talent that makes ES3 successful. You will be one among the highly valued rank of professional staff. Our Utah RDT&E and production facilities encompass more than 240,000 square feet of aerospace R&D, laboratory, prototyping, testing, and production manufacturing with state of the art material testing and fabrication along with cutting edge new machinery and product development. Our facilities are ISO9001 and AS9100D certified. Our Utah based office and production facilities house more than 140 engineers, scientists, and technicians. We are located just minutes away from some of the world’s best ski resorts, hiking trails, and scenic outdoor terrain.

Essential Capabilities:

  • Read and understand technical drawings

  • Proficient in use of CAD modeling software

  • SolidWorks

  • AutoCad

  • Component Design

  • Facility Layout

  • Piping Drawings

  • Electrical Drawings

  • Geometric Dimensioning and Toleranceing (GD&T)

  • Technical Writing

  • Time Management

  • Willing to learn new skills

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma,

  • Applied Technology Training is a plus

  • 0 -10 years of experience with CAD design and modeling

Additional Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship

  • The ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Contractor Access Card (CAC) and/or already possess a retired Military ID card
