The opportunity

The Quality Analyst III, Senior Engineer is responsible for coordinating investigations into product complaints, authors and compiles Annual Product Reviews and generates quarterly and yearly Quality Review Reports. The Analyst will also monitor and trend key areas and indicators from production and laboratories for implementation of corrective and preventative measures.

How you’ll spend your day

All areas of responsibility listed below are essential to the satisfactory performance of this position by any incumbents with reasonable accommodation if necessary. Any non-essential functions are assumed to be included in other related duties or assignments.

  • Perform complaint investigations; assist with weekly and monthly metrics

  • Process change controls and update as needed

  • Prepare APR contributions for complaints, investigations to show product performance and determine compliance

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly complaints metrics for Quarterly Council

  • Coordinate with other departments to complete investigations and reports

  • Attend Quarterly Council meetings and present area results

  • Submit change controls

  • Complete investigations

  • Participate in audits

  • Review and approve documents in Trackwise

  • Review and approve protocol reports and change controls

  • Provide guidance and coaching to employees on GMP and quality systems

  • Complete all training requirements and maintain 100% compliance with all assignments

  • Maintain work areas and perform job functions in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures, cGMPs, and SOPs

  • Carry out responsibilities in accordance to the company's policies, procedures, and state, federal, and local laws

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Your experience and qualifications

Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.

Education/Certification/Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, or related field from an accredited college or university required

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience preferably in a quality assurance environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Knowledge of cGMPs, SOPs, FDA, and other regulatory compliance regulations and standards required

  • Quality Control practices in the pharmaceutical industry preferred

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

  • Exposure to fumes, odors, dusts, mists, and gasses (for non-office)

  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts or moving equipment

  • Exposure to various noise levels

  • May be required to wear personal protective equipment as needed for assigned areas
