The Key Account Manager - New Business Development will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and closing new business opportunities with large accounts. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales and account management, particularly with high-value clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong sales acumen, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.

Where is the work:

Remote in geography:

This position has been designated as r emote and work will be performed anywhere in the US (preferably near a major airport).

What you will do:

  • Identify and target potential large accounts that align with the company's strategic goals.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to acquire new business from large accounts.

  • Conduct market research to understand the needs and challenges of potential clients.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target accounts.

  • Present and demonstrate the value of Oxbox HVAC Residential Equipment to prospective clients.

  • Negotiate and close high-value deals, ensuring alignment with company objectives and profitability targets.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new clients.

  • Track and report on sales performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior management.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development, preferably with large accounts.

  • Proven track record of successfully prospecting, negotiating, and closing high-value deals.

  • Strong understanding of the Residential HVAC industry and the ability to quickly learn about Oxbox HVAC Residential Equipment.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: Starts at $100,000 and up based on experience and will include an incentive plan.

Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed
