[John F. Kennedy Catholic School in Davenport, Iowa, is seeking a K-8 music and choir instructor, full-time preferred, but will consider part-time as well.K-6 music classes meet twice per week. 7^th^/8^th^ graders choose either choir or general music and meet twice per week.The music teacher leads K-2 and 3-5 Christmas shows, is involved in 5/6 and 7/8 honor choir activities, and teaches the singing for the middle school musical. Music classes include the use of recorders, bucket drums, and boom whackers, among other instruments. [JFK is a growing Catholic school in the Diocese of Davenport with approximately 440 PS-8th grade students. JFK has received national recognition as a High Reliability School regarding its attention to creating a safe, supportive and collaborative culture. [Ideal candidates have or can receive an Iowa teaching license with a K-8 and/or 5-12 music endorsement.
