VERA FRENCH COMM MENTAL HEALTH CTR Administrative Assistant - Housing in Davenport, Iowa

As an Administrative Assistant in our Housing and Facilities office, you will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations and ensuring smooth administrative functions. You will interact with current and prospective residents, assist with Housing and Maintenance activities, and provide administrative support to the Housing and Facilities team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

In addition to general administrative/clerical tasks; this position will also assist with:

  • Driving the property software system by inputting new applications, posting rents and managing work orders.
  • Coordinating various projects, organize meetings.
  • Leasing activities of various low-income and affordable housing properties, including preparing tenant documents, scheduling tenant interviews and move-in and move-outs.
  • Writing, tracking and processing grant applications and appropriate reporting.

Must be able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Experience with spreadsheets and data entry critical to success. Excellent communication skills required.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Associates Degree with relevant experience required, and a minimum of two years of administrative support experience.
  • Confidentiality - Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and possess a high level of interpersonal skills, both verbal and written to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
  • Technical Capacity - Must possess excellent computer skills, particularly with all Microsoft Office applications
  • Project Research - ability to source and navigate the internet to research a wide range of topics.
