W&M Fire Protection Services Outside Sales Representative in Darien, Connecticut
As part of the W&M Fire Protection family (a subsidiary of Davis-Ulmer Fire Protection), Integrated Protection Services is a growing commercial systems integrator and service provider. Our Connecticut office is now in its 18th year as a leading regional provider (southwestern CT and Westchester County NY) of security and fire systems/services. Due to continued growth, our Darien, CT location is looking to add an Outside Sales Rep to our team! We are looking for someone who has strong relationship-building skills and who will generate new project/installation as well as recurring service business. This role will build a book of business in Fairfield and West Chester counties.
Experience and Qualities Required:
At least 5 years of full-time experience in commercial sales of security systems and services.
Build and maintain business by developing relationships with general contractors and construction managers, architects, engineers, electrical contractors, IT providers.
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Minimum of an Associate’s Degree, with BA/BS degree preferred.
Be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as a team player.
Compensation:
First 6 months: salary of $5000/month.
Commission-based compensation starting in month 7. Commissions paid on both “one-time” installation as well as “recurring service” sales.
