Six Flags Darien Lake Theme Park Resort RV Maintenance Mechanic in Darien Center, New York

Darien Center. Six Flags Darien Lake. RV Maintenance Mechanic. Starting at $16.75/hour.

JOB PURPOSE: Has basic knowledge and experience of mechanics, liquid propane gas systems, electrical, plumbing and carpentry. Working knowledge of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * To maintain, transport, repair and trouble shoot RV units and related equipment in accordance with proven ability as evaluated by the Facilities Maintenance Manager to insure their safe efficient operation. * To insure that the RV units are clean and visually in compliance with manufactures specifications, guests and Darien Lake policy. * To ensure that manufactures specifications and state regulations are complied with and documented. * To inspect RV units and adjacent areas and notify the Facilities Maintenance t Manager of any hazards that may endanger the general public or Six Flags Darien Lake staff. * To keep all work areas clean, safe and in a professional manner. * Must be able to read, understand and implement maintenance and inspection procedures. * To direct, advise and/or work in conjunction with other staff in solving RV related problems. * To keep all assigned equipment and vehicles in a clean, safe and professional manner. * To operate within the policies and procedures of Six Flags Darien Lake. * Flexibility to work nights, weekends and 6 day weeks when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: * Must be at least 18 years of age. * High School Diploma or GED required. * Must be able to read and write the English language. * Must have basic knowledge and experience of mechanics, liquid propane gas systems, electrical, plumbing and carpentry. * Must have a working knowledge of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems. * Valid New York State Driver's License and successful completion of Darien Lake Vehicle Training program.

OTHER FUNCTIONS: Any and all other duties that is assigned or necessary in order to support the Maintenance Department and the park as a whole.
