Darien Center. Six Flags Darien Lake. Guest Relations Representative. Starting at $15.50/hour.

JOB PURPOSE: Respond to guest comments and concerns in a courteous, professional, but expedited manner.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Listen and help resolve guest issues or questions while remaining calm in a stressful fast-paced environment. * Making sure safety and guest services is top priority. * Enforce park policy in a manner conducive to being an advocate for the guest, while still adhering to park rules and regulations. * Communicate with Marketing and Public Relations regarding special groups, sales, and promotions. * Fill in the role of an Admissions Attendant or Parking Attendant when and where needed. * Obtain and accurately report the park count hourly, late counts could result in disciplinary action. * Notify the Park Duty Manager or Operations Duty Manager of any unusual circumstances. * Comply with all Darien Lake policies and procedures. * Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: * 1 year Admissions experience * Appreciation for the serious and safety critical nature of the responsibilities inherent in the job. * The individual must be able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language. * Proven organization and time management skills. * Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of written and oral instructions. * Must be able to operate a computer and read a computer screen, tablets and point of sale terminal. * Strong motivational, leadership and team building skills. * Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays and a six-day workweek, as required.

OTHER FUNCTIONS: Any and all other duties that is assigned or necessary in order to support the Operations Department and the park as a whole.
