Maintenance Assistant/Environmental

Hillcrest Health Care Center (HHCC) joined the AMFM family July 1, 2014 and is a 90 person care center specializing in skilled nursing, short-term rehabilitation to home, and long-term care services. Hillcrest HCC is located 30 miles from Charleston, WV.

Job Duties for Maintenance Environmental Worker:

  • General maintenance of the facility

  • Ensure work areas are clean and equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored at all times.

  • Maintain clean and orderly stock room, storage areas, and assigned equipment

  • Complete assignments in a thorough, enthusiastic, accurate, and timely manner

  • Assist with the operations of the general duties in the environmental department

  • Assist with all laundry duties including collecting, sorting, washing, folding, and distributing

  • Clean patient rooms, bathrooms, floors, carpets, and other assigned areas

    Working Conditions:

    Work in well-lighted, well ventilated area. Subject to frequent interruptions and may be called upon to handle emergency situations. Sit, stand, and walk intermittently during the day. Interact with residents, family members, visitors, public and staff under varying conditions.
