*Kurt Weiss Greenhouses *in Washingtonville, PA is currently seeking a Night Watchman for the following schedules:

Split Shift -- 1 person

  • Thursday - 3:30 pm to 12:00 am
  • Friday - 3:30 pm to 12:00 am
  • Saturday - 11:45 pm to 6.:15am
  • Sunday - 11:45 pm to 6.:15am

2nd Shift -- 1person

  • Monday 3:30 pm -- 12am
  • Tuesday 3:30 pm -- 12am
  • Wednesday 3:30pm -- 12am
  • Saturday 3:30pm -- 12am
  • Sunday 3:30pm -- 12am

3rd Shift -- 1 person

  • Monday 11:45 pm to 6.:15am
  • Tuesday 11:45 pm to 6.:15am
  • Wednesday 11:45 pm to 6.:15am
  • Thursday 11:45 pm to 6.:15am
  • Friday 11:45 pm to 6.:15am

The ideal candidate must be willing and able to walk at least 5-6 miles a day and cannot be afraid of the dark. Must be dependable with reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, need to be able to read a thermometer, understand temperatures, watch, and run boilers, watch overall environment of the greenhouse. Applicant will need to be motivated and able to work independently; must be able to stay on task with little supervision. No experience necessary, training is available for the right individual.

The ideal candidate will be able to do simple preventative maintenance tasks while overseeing greenhouses.
