Job Summary

This product manager will have responsibility managing Geisinger’s Adobe Workfront product, a project management tool used for all marketing/ communications/digital projects. Responsible for managing enterprise-level digital marketing and experience products , while championing a OneGeisinger strategy. Serves as a product owner for one or more enterprise digital platforms . Articulates strategic vision and business objectives served by digital products within role’s portfolio. Translates business objectives into product vision and requirements, and proactively partners with other functions to design, implement then oversee roadmap and maintenance for products. Brings strategic lens, analytical acumen, client-service orientation, extensive digital marketing skills, teamwork, and project management experience in working with Marketing and Communications.

Job Duties

  • Provides digital marketing and digital customer experience strategic leadership in overseeing one or more digital products.

  • Able to lead product from conceptualization, design to development and successful enterprise implementation.

  • Identifies and leads any and all content migration planning and implementation as technology needs evolve and incorporate into project scope and planning.

  • Recommends and implements product training and support processes for end users.

  • Oversees creation of requirements and user stories for development of new features and enhancements.

  • Serves in a manager role: Manages external agency partners and directly supervises digital marketing producer and marketing and product staff to ensure successful execution of digital marketing and customer experience strategies with strong focus on delivering Return On Investment.

  • Advises Marketing and Communications leadership on, and secures approval for, prioritization of digital projects and enterprise level technologies to advance System objectives.

  • Recommends and brings to life user-centric interactive strategies and experience that drive business results.

  • Responsible for execution and implementation, life cycle management, and evaluation of all digital activities.

  • Collaborates with Marketing and Communications’ web team, Inofroamtion Technology web teams, and, as needed and budgeted, approved interactive agencies, to design and bring programs to market.

  • Regularly develops and provides analytics and KPI reports and program optimization recommendations to Marketing and Communications leadership.

  • Partners with Marketing and Communications to ensure web and digital presence align with Geisinger’s overall business, marketing and brand objectives.

  • Designs and develops approved digital products and programs consistent with Geisinger branding standards, approved technologies, and web governance policies.

  • Develops expertise on approved web marketing tools in use at Geisinger and to identify gaps where other tools may be implemented.

  • Request tools and training as needed.

  • Partners with Marketing and Communications Web Team and IT System Development team to recommend how System can evolve systems, applications, and related governance policies to support Geisinger System’s business objectives and strategic road map.

  • Serves on key interdepartmental committees related to digital marketing.

  • Communicates progress, roadblocks, and issues to team and management in timely manner.
