Ephraim McDowell Health (Multiple Locations including Danville, KY), Nursing Assistant, Job requirements: Resident Personal Care: dressing/undressing; bathing; oral hygiene; grooming; toileting or bedpan/catheter bag change; collection of stool/urine specimens. Resident Physical Care: transfer in/out of bed, wheelchair, etc.; exercise; back rub; placement of supportive pads or protectors; assist fallen residents. Resident Medical Care: weigh Resident; take vital signs; external eye cleansing; apply warm/cold packs; report any change in condition to supervising physician or nurse; chart; Resident information; give input on care plan; answer call light; provide hospice care. Resident Home Care: distribute meal trays; feed Residents; distribute/gather utensils; collect/distribute linens and clothing; change bedding; tidy Residents bedstands, closets, and rooms; empty linen barrels; clean wet floors and disinfect bathtubs. Will work full-time at one of the employer's healthcare facilities. The nursing assistant will not oversee any employee; LPN and/or CNAs. Employees may be required to work at unanticipated locations.
